Reconciliation is a Sacrament of healing for the soul. Typically, once the person has achieved the age of reason, around age 7 (2nd Grade), a Baptized Catholic needs the Sacrament of Reconciliation to receive the other Sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist and Confirmation). Children wishing to receive First Communion and First Reconciliation are required to complete sacramental preparation through the Parish Public School of Religion or be enrolled at Borromeo Academy.
