Borromeo Academy and St. Charles Borromeo Parish are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment for every child. In accordance with the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph's Safe Environment policies, all volunteers who work with children or youth are required to complete VIRTUS training and successfully pass a background screening before serving. This commitment helps ensure the safety and well-being of every scholar entrusted to our care.
Parents, grandparents, and other volunteers are encouraged to complete the VIRTUS requirements early so they can participate in classroom activities, field trips, school events, and other volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
